I am based in my home town of Winchester, Hampshire. I create unusual, stylistic and haunting images of natural suroundings through linocut, etching, monoprint, mokulito, carborundum and watercolour.
My interest in traditional printmaking allows me to create ephemeral and individual images. While experimenting with printmaking I am drawn to the unpredictable outcomes each print produces.
I take inspiration from artists such as Norman Ackroyd and Eric Ravilious.
I mainly work in monochrome to enhance the dramatic aspects of the world around me.
