This etching reflects the dark stonework against the bright sky and highlights the texture and age of the castle wall. Merdon Castle is a hidden gem which can only be accessed occassionally as it is on private land. It is an interesting site filled with intrigue and mytery which is reflected in the etching. This is a monotone piece of work.
