No 4 has an abstract textural detail which enhances the weathered, aged stones. Although the stonework looked dark, almost black against the skyline tinges of light shone through with storm like features.
No 5 has a more tranquil edge to it. with more textural detail and linear work.
The stonework is highlighted by the use of colour.
Both etchings are 8"x5" and are mounted in white. They can be framed with a black, modern frame for an extra charge.
Merdon Castle is little known being situated on private land and access is rare but not impossible. It is an interesting, atmospheric place to visit and this is reflected in the etchings. Price is for one .
